[Gsmmap] cell_log: Mobile initialized, please start phone now!

Hi list,

I'm trying to record some data with instructions from http://srlabs.de/gsm-map-tutorial/.
So far, I have built the layer1 with burst_ind patch. It loads to the phone without errors. But when I run cell_log:

~/cell_logger/captures$ ../osmocom-bb/src/host/layer23/src/misc/cell_log -s /tmp/osmocom_l2 -l osmocom.log

Failed to connect to '/tmp/osmocom_sap'.
Failed during sap_open(), no SIM reader
<000e> cell_log.c:829 Scanner initialized
Mobile initialized, please start phone now!

...and does not seem to do anything else. osmocom.log is empty, nothing is saved in ~/cell_logger.

I'm using OpenMoko phone, if that matters. When cell_logg is run, a single message is sent through the socket to the phone:

> 2012/01/11 15:40:16.893088  length=10 from=0 to=9
 00 08 0d 00 00 00 01 00 00 00                    ..........

cell_log says "please start phone now", but what does this mean, when the phone is already started?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Dave.
