[Gsmmap] MCC in SMS & SS7 attacks in SnoopSnitch

Hello group

Under SMS & SS7 attacks there are some SMS attacks(?) listed with
their MCC (Mobile Contry Code).
Does this MMC correspond with the location of the sender of those SMS
or is this the basestation which delivered that SMS (to me)?
